MASTERS

A master is a postgraduate course which aims at improving the skills you got in your undergraduate course and develop new ones in a more specialized direction. These courses of specialization are key to your professional maturity. You can find first level masters, that you can start right after your undergraduate degree, and second level masters, whose entry requirement is to have a 2-year postgraduate degree. Moreover, there are some other masters called post-experience masters and executive masters.

HOW TO CHOOSE A MASTER

There are several aspects you have to take into account before choosing a master. First of all, consider costs and ways of payment: in Italy a master can cost from 2.000€ up to 30.000€. Also, get information about employment prospects, the possibility to do an internship with an agreement with the master and about the percentage of previous students who have found a job after concluding the master course.

UNIVERSITY MASTERS

Rome’s main universities offer many university masters, from economics and architecture to law and IT. There are also some masters in some of Rome’s private universities, like LUISS Guido Carli, the most prestigious one. It offers costly but very high-level masters, especially in economics and law.

MATERS IN SCHOOLS OTHER THAN UNIVERSITIES

Quality masters in Rome are also offered by some of the Business Schools of the city. You will get high-level and specialized training provided by external teachers and, in many of them, you’ll be given the possibility to combine the course with an internship. In Italy there are several important Training Schools like Stogea, UpLevel, BeMore, SDA Bocconi and IED.
