The Teatro Eliseo was founded in 1900 named as Arena Nazionale. It changed its name after World War I, becoming a prestigious theatre in Italy with remarkable dramas and operas.
Current theatrical programs at the Eliseo and at the close Piccolo Eliseo range from classic to contemporary dramas. The building can let up to 956 people in and the house is an ellipse with two balconies and two circles.
