This suggestive museum in Rome, located close to Piazza Venezia, hosts an interesting collection of wax figures, the third in Europe for number of works. It was founded in 1958 by Fernando Canini, following in the footsteps of the famous London and Paris wax museums, and is subdivided into 10 rooms.

The visit begins in the Hall of the Palazzo Venezia and goes on with figures of prominent personalities from 19th and 20th centuries, celebs, sportspeople, the Italian Risorgimento, famous inventors, artists, musicians, performers, prehistoric animals, the Lenin room and numerous other historical characters.
