The ristorante Quinzi e Gabrieli is located in a narrow alley nearby the Pantheon, in a 16th century building, and is an absolute must-go restaurant in Rome for those who love fresh fish. It was opened in 1982; since then, it has focused its personal philosophy on the enhancement of fresh and rigorously selected Italian fish.

Its walls are decorated with paintings by apprentice set designers who study 18th century techniques at the Academy of Fine Arts; these paintings present typically Italian themes: sunset in Capri, sunrise in Portofino and a night scene from the Island of Elba. The restaurant has three rooms with 65 total places.

Dishes are cooked in a very essential and light way, in order to exalt fresh fish authentic taste, adding only ingredients from Mediterranean cuisine, from Amalfi lemons to olive oil and Tropea’s onions. The menu includes Gragnano paccheri pasta with bream sea, cuttlefishes with crispy artichokes, shellfish and scorpion fish in guazzetto sauce. It also has a wide wine list.

Moreover, the restaurant offers services like take out and external catering. You can also arrange ad hoc business dinners and private dinners or parties in Portofino room. You’d better reserve a place in advance, also via email.
